Asay (Manhattan) Top time of the day

STATE CROSS COUNTRY : Bozeman boys and girls both win team titles. The Bozeman girls broke the class record team score with a score of 30 points. The old record of 31 points was set by Flathead. Heidi Turner of Bozeman won the girl's individual title for the 3rd year in a row. The Columbia Falls boys won their first state title. Whitefish girls won their third state championships in a row. Mike Asay, Manhattan, 15:23.44 had the fastest time of the day for boys. Heidi Turner, Boze, 17:59.68 had the fastest girls time. Manhattan boys won the class B title. Colstrip took the class B girls title. Warner from Townsend won the individual B title running a great time of 18:23. In class C, Culbertson won the boys title with a score of 23 points. Joliet had the same score but Culbertson placed their number 6th runner ahead of Joliet's 6th runner. Belt-Centerville easily won the class C girls team title with a score of 12 points. The top three runners are scored. Belt-Centerville have now won four titles in a row.
